    Malt barley

Local bid for malt quality has gone up from $4.50 to $5.00 during past month, does not look like what is still out is going to be acceptable.
Thinking it may be time to sell.

Anyone who had a good yielding barley crop could make some good money.

I'll leave growing barley to those who can do a good job of it.

Barley doesn't like some of our Ghetto land.

Sold for $5.40 last year. Now there is less to select from and 5 is the number?

If barley is still in the field now, it is likely feed unless it is still green.

Stuff around here still seems ok. Even swathed stuff isn’t showing much chit. Tough as goose crap still but otherwise it’s not out of the running.

If it’s not off by the time the next batch of rain hits this week it could be a different story.

And with all the feed wheat, feed barley could be real cheap...
