Thankfully voting in Canada is voluntary. I agree that making it compulsory would increase the number of leftwing voters.

Voting online would also. I have always said if you can't get off your butt and get out to vote, you don't deserve the right.

Lots of people say on Facebook they intend to attend some function or another. In reality it is far fewer that show up. Usually the millennial crowd.
