Wheels falling off? In this area they have scarcely been on. If it doesn’t rain today it will be the first day in almost a week.

Lentils off, flax off, durum just got off. Canola sprayed and waiting.
Guys were rushing to try and get wheat in before the ugly weather but a bunch of little showers went through and shut them all down. There will be lots of wheat taking weather now. Dont know what that will grade. Feed might be best they can hope for if it doesnt sprout. 99% of canola still out and these really late chicks arround too.
Seeing people do some pretty desperate things, taking crop cant be anywhere near dry. Green wheat with green weeds, spray from plane didn't work. One canola field cut just 10 days ago picked up this week.

Started into yellow mustard this afternoon... its bleached, but yield is ok.
Rained out.
Cannot believe my eyes when I see green growth with new blooms on it coming out of the side of completely dead looking plants. I suppose the frost will fix that problem.
Up to 75% done.
One neighbor might have the same done, two others maybe 10-15%...
One has most of his knocked down because of wicked 2nd growth... 7" of snow forecast for the weekend will seriously fubar those swaths...
What a phucking year!
