South of Killarney, MB. Not the harvest picture a person wants to see.

We just got some too - with a quick shot of hail on my corn again. I'm beginning to think corn attracts hail. Oh well at least it hasn't frozen yet.

20 % here in West Central Sask. Peas mostly done, some barley, some wheat. Guys with dryers moving along, guys without sitting. Working on wheat today, 21% moisture. Takes along time in dryer.

          We are at 36% done..
57 % of our canola in the bin dry.
Some neighbors still swathing theirs with no sign of color change ..

And the many versions of early winter forecasts...pick one? Highs of +3 lows of -3 to -6 for a week?

If freeze up, thanks Greta, no harvest costs, no field work, no spraying, less grain to haul all winter. The leaches/er suppliers get bit in their ASS for a change. Layoffs all over the place, Pattison stealer ships sold off at Ritchie's. Burn in spring after the geese are done, collect Crop ins. Way more coverage than market prices today.

Looks like we have one more day of harvest then the wheels fall off in the Ghetto.
Maybe after the "desiccating" frost Friday and Saturday nights(here) we will get a change in weather....OR NOT!
We've flip flopped back and forth between canola and wheat taking advantage of any condition that would allow progress.
We're back on canola now after dry wheat went back up to 17.4!
Flax and yellow mustard will be done straight and after the frost will be naturally desiccated.

Great for you DRY wheat! Ours never got below 16, most in the 17-18 range, crazy amount of GREEN kernels. Will try canola, dryer has work for up a week now. Forecast for us getting better, oops snow staying south?

Fj, we have more tough wheat in the bins than dry. It's been bizarre!

                    Another negative wave 101!

Drew's forecast sounds terrible for here.

Yup wheels are going to fall off everywhere for a while again .
The predators will be out in full force trying to push next years inputs “buy ASAP” before the price goes up . Yup get three days of harvest in and they will be back to try and pick the bones bare again lol

Wheels falling off? In this area they have scarcely been on. If it doesn’t rain today it will be the first day in almost a week.

rained out , everything on the farm was dry and ready to go
alas , only have 2 combines
yesterday and today woulda been nice to have 25 of them
canola yields really down here , at least 15%, and this area was to be the best in Sask?? , speculators could have very sore , red , burning ,arses
                                , cereals, peas were excellent
