I haven’t read all the posts because you guys can be long winded! And I don’t watch TV so I can’t comment on the bruhaha around Greta.

What does strike me is the first few posts that pretty much complete bash a young woman because of her age. In a world where people are constantly bemoaning how useless youth today are, how unmotivated, how lazy, how ineffective, how 100 years ago youth went off to war, how 1000 years ago they were parents living off the land and half way through their lives.....

Yet here is an example of a youth doing something. Trying to be effective. She’s ambitious, she’s going out there and working... and all she’s getting is abuse that she’s been brainwashed, she’s an idiot, what do young people know, all because you don’t agree with what she’s saying?

Holding a different opinion doesn’t automatically make someone a moron or brainwashed.

Young people used to know a lot, perhaps it's our treatment of them that contributes somewhat to them believing nothing is worth doing or talking about.
