Case IH 8210 Won’t Fire Up

We changed the fuel filter, then all the fuel lines but now the diesel fuel relief valve is allowing fuel to goto tank instead of delivering enough fuel to injectors. Canola is dry!

Yup gotta love the shit they put on engines today...the electronics that control the valves like the EGR are garbage and can't take the environment...

Not quite the same issue as the deere 9670 was still going...kept coding something to do with fuel...changed the filters and everything recommended ...turned out to be the sensor....happens more often than not that the electronics that are supposed to tell you whats wrong are NFG....

Older combines you would just change the filters on a rainy day mid season if required and then carry on....

Had a problem on a 7088 Case where it would spin and spin but not start. Had the Case people out and after looking at everything from fuel to electronics and then almost ready to give up and go back to town he phoned his boss. After he gets off the phone he gets a rubber mallet out of the tool box and tells me to spin it over and he beats on the top of the fuel pump with the mallet and bang starts right up!
Apparently there are some ceramic plungers in there that get sticky when fuel doesn’t have enough lube. I have been putting in a conditioner and have had no other problems.

That’s back a few years but Allen spent most of the day here so there was a substantial bill. Would have been a easy fix if we had known.

had a similar problem with a cummins motor no one getting anywere.

workman said lets put a non return valve in the line somewere, cummins mechanics were agahst said we would foook it up. throw codes etc.

We will be back tommorow 320 km round trip which gets paid by km and hour.

workman put valve in all good. we told cummins we just put another filter on dont bother coming back.

              a white lie i guess
