Not too bad yet but two more days of anti-harvest weather to endure and get through!
    Then it hopefully starts drying.
    What a harvest...

NO what? Let's talk about it, acknowledging it is half the battle and starts the "healing" process. Lol. This might be "terminal" ....no chance of recovery for some . Don't be in denial.

Made it 4 months without a windchill value (officially anyway). What a country!

Old Man Winter is trying to save some harvest for next spring. Again. There seems to be a pattern forming.

This may not only be a season ending storm ...it could be a farm ending storm....the margins are too tight not to get this crop...

Remarkably, the last few years have provided a window. A crazy amount of conditioning was needed once out of the field but many(not all) were able to get it done. Lots of time for it to happen this year, but we are losing some days which can often provide good, dry conditions. Pity

If we all ignored the forecast (easier said than done I know) and just looked at the calendar we have lots of time yet.

To be fair some of these guys were based in Britain, talking about British weather conditions not predicting that we would no longer get snow in Canada. This comment from 2000 provides some context "....in the south of England, for instance, from 1970 to 1995 snow and sleet fell for an average of 3.7 days, while from 1988 to 1995 the average was 0.7 days. London’s last substantial snowfall was in February 1991."
