The day after Trudope gets another majority, the smartest men and women in Western Canada from all industries; health care and government service industries need to meet in Calgary and start to hammer out the outline of what a new economic Independent Region would look like.

I’m not advocating joining the USA (they have a special muppet show going on) I say we make our own economic region that is dedicated to the practical and focused on realizing our regions full potential efficient economic development.

A price can be put on everything. Pay CANADA a fee for what we want to purchase and use....charge a fee for that which CANADA want to purchase from the West.

It’s complicated, but not impossible to devise a plan to keep our wealth here and stopped getting screwed by a voracious unapologetic east that hates us.

I can’t believe anyone wants to be in a one way relationship that you are only good for being used.

The fact that there is no Western Ag Policy of any substance is proof of this.

Ottawa is a swamp that consumes the west and sucks us dry.

Time to beat the drums, get serious about getting out. We have the gold....we should be making the rules.

At least when the Conservatives have the House....the west gets the respect to sit at the big boys table.

If only we could amputate the cancer from the country and give Quebec to the European Union so they can experiment with fulfilling their socialist fantasies.

Our days aren't filled with pitching hay and forking shit, gathering eggs and slopping the hogs, endless hours of summerfallowing and digging grain out of the corners of old wooden bins.

There is a level of sophistication and intelligence, treat the Primary Producer who is basically the backbone of the Industry with some respect.

I'm sure the same thing can be said about the oil energy sector.

Quit eating and doing anything or owning anything that is a derivative from the oil sector if you don't like to support it.

        Anything else would be hypocritical!

Many in the west would be nostalgic about Canada as it exists, a large, diverse, and beautiful country. They are patriotic. But they can see we have no voice in the direction the country is steered. A triple E senate was denied. Any strong well spoken leader could convince the west to separate so that we govern ourselves, manage our economy.
The east has more business earning wealth here than many of us realize.
All this talk of global warming and burning and taxing, not one suggestion of more rail lines and passenger travel in this great flat country. A subway in Winnipeg to replace diesel busses. Fewer airplane travel instead of fast fuel efficient train travel.
We could be a dynamo of ag, oil, hydro, industry efficiency.
We have leaders who could light the fire.

The separation I would love to see happen, and we join the USA. Like Alberta/Sask.

But we have some issues, and the native one is the main problem.

What I would love to see is Alberta and Sask have a vote that they aren't happy with the current constitutional set up of Canada and want to go on their own. We would win by some 70% then start negotiations with Ottawa and the rest of the shit hole provinces. Do what crying Quebec has always done. We want in or Out. At the same time, this vote happens to send a delegation to Washington starting talks to join. Its time to play hardball with the useless fools in East and Vancouver.
