Friday Crop Report on a Thursday!

Here S of Regina I estimate 60% done. Some wheat out there yet, some late chicks and almost all canola. Couple odd fields of flax.

But looking at a little harvest window later this week should move that number pretty good. 3 nights hard frost hopefully freeze dried.

Thankful to have missed heavy snowfall not too far east of here in Manitoba, got about two inches earlier in week and enough more to make up for melting.
Estimate one third to half crop in area still out, including significant amount of canola left to straight cut.
Canola yield has likely been best ever, not too much missed May showers for good germination.
Spring wheat disappointing after last year record yield and now low quality and lower yield.
Also thankful to have missed early snowfall of other areas in recent years, a bit of an awakening.
