Chuck, you use the phrase, “incubators for extremism”. That’s how I see the climate change hysteria. It is so Extreme and dangerous to Western economies but as dangerous or more so to the next generation. The constant doom and gloom preaching is breeding hopelessness and despair in young minds - so much so that now psychologists are being trained to deprogram children and young people with respect to climate change. Young people are denying life-saving treatments and are adopting risky lifestyles because, “it doesn’t matter anyway, we are all doomed to the fact that the earth will be uninhabitable in a decade or so”. I think the only way to stop this insanity is through the courts. These screwed up “ educators” and school boards who are abusing children by constant climate change harassment should be legally responsible for their actions- no different than any abuse.

Apparently it was warm and dry here in the thirties but my Dad could tell stories of warm and dry before 1900, walked in his bare feet on Christmas Day, just to say he could do it, but then he could tell stories of extreme cold and blizzards too. There are pictures of snow drifts higher than steam engines on railroads.

Might as well party like it is 1999. We operate our farm with 20 to 50 year old equipment. Transitioning all of that to GHG compliant new equipment would cause financial ruin. Last time I looked we don’t even have viable replacements available. We are not being realistic in my opinion.
