Thanks Furrow. This has happened before and will again. What matters is how we respond to it. We knew we were a bit risky running one combine over 3200 acres. Got 2800 done, no dryer just aeration. It’s a bit of a stretch in MB where high humidities are frequent.

Planning for spring 2020 underway. No fertilizer on for anyone here. Will be interesting to say the least.

Harvest in one thing but your right it’s all the fall work that can’t get done
Makes for a stressful spring next year as well

It looks bleak for sure but don't give up hope guys.

I don't remember the year but we got 6-8 inches of snow on Halloween night and all the canola was still in the field. This is North East Sask where winter is always early and it is usually comes around Halloween and not one person thought that crop would come off.
Three weeks later all the crop was off and the odd guy waited long enough to get it dry!

That was the miracle fall for us and i don't know if it can happen twice!
