Last election here in May unlooseable for left and greens. Unwinnable for right.

Right/conservatives put in a new leader think just 6 months before election.

Boring, no charisma, dorky, religious, common, worked in business mostly adevertising and marketing and tourism. Father a policeman wife a nurse. Strict father. Has a beer. Study economics. His speeches no glam just to the point. Believe Australia is a export powerhouse, iron ore copper coal gas. Green hate him with a passion. Some called him gomer Pyle of world politics.

Turns out public loved him except for say 30 yrs and younger.
