Lisa Raitt, who some on here were touting as a good potential CPC leader took it on the chin pretty hard last night.

The Talking Heads of the CPC party couldn't understand why Harper lost in 2015. So what do they do, bring Smiling 2.0 and try it again.

The old Reformer's have way to much control of the CPC party. Anti abortion, anti guy marriage, anti immigrant, with the Evangelicals having way to much influence.

Till the CPC party breaks away from these nut bars nothing going to change!! Hopefully it happens soon and the first step is get rid of SCHEER!

Scheer’s personality is a lot like Harper’s. They both lack hutzpah and show no emotion or drive. Guess they thought that if they just stand there with a dumb grin, and keep their mouths shut, they’ll come sliding into home plate. Doesn’t work that way. You’ve got to have no ghosts in your closet (especially ghosts that surface during election campaign) and emotional appeal to voters, either with good lucks, great background or star status. Trudeau doesn’t tear ( that’s eye tears) up for nothing or don a bullet proof vest for exercise - knows voters are gullible and fall for anything, just like people fall for scams.

If you look at the constituency maps this morning you can see the problem, we are surrounded by red - both coasts red, northern reaches all red. Only way to go is south. And if the democrats get in the US, geez Louise!

problem is that Scheer is from the west. And Toronto don't like it. Let’s not forget that he had farmers JAILED for selling their own grain!!

Maybe he can get a plum job with Xi Jinping in the Chinese Pilot Bureau as he has lots of experience jailing innocent people who want economic freedom.

Now you have no one at the cabinet table from the prairies who knows anything about western ag. You may not like Goodale or his policies but at least he had a clue about what was going on with ag and the weather and economic problems and what might be needed for support.

Trudeau can win without western canadian support. He has even less reason to care now that Goodale doesn't have his ear.
