My crop report is based on my travel to cabri for the sale yesterday. I’d say that area is done....

Who’s ever yard the sale was at, maybe invest in some gravel.....and to the clueless farmers there thinking you were gonna buy that dryer cheap, hope you remember what I said. Desperate times call for desperate measures. I knew it was gonna go for more than new, but double? Wow.

I might grow it on most of my acres in 2020. It’s that good.

We had on a section and I can say it filled lots of bags.

Now it’s similar to our good later L252.

But this Dekalb I’m doing now shit the Bed. It’s touching the section of L501

Thankful for the weather we have had so harvest is done. Strange for NE Sask to be ahead but this year it is.
Sounds like winter is coming this weekend so trying to get as much NH3 on as I can.

Finally limped across the finish line tonight. Had the combine, baler, and swather going and whichever machine got to the field first ate it. Ended up baling a bunch of “soggy” wheat and that’s fine as the dryer has at least a months worth of work ahead of it. Just got about 400 silage bales to wrap and a thousand straw bales to pick and possibly maybe some tillage if the weather stays decent.

Still most of the canola and some wheat with a smattering of peas left around here.

Now to catch up on some sleep and cow stuff that’s been on the backburner.

Good luck to everyone still fighting the battle.

We were fortunate enough to finish up Sunday night. On Monday my son spent all day at one neighbor finishing him up by nightfall. I went the opposite direction to another neighbor and straight cut canola all day. We had a 2 day rain shower interruption and we were back at it yesterday, got him down to 45 acres left by the time we quit last night. Today have to some fencing and start moving cows home, weather forecast looks to take a turn tonight. Woodland, it certainly looks like finishing up wasn't much fun! For those not yet finished I hope the weather improves and you can get it done!

                      Not sure of area.
                      Done to 20% left depending.
Blessed by the local colony and pulled an all nighter Monday. Still recovering lol.
Hindsight might have finished without but I'm not sorry to pay that bill.
                      Finished standing canola yesterday.
Why do I do that to myself????
Going off to a neighbors today.

                      Question.
After 4 years of this. And after spending money on infrastructure for efficiencies.
Am I being forced to buy another combine??? Last thing I want to do.
                      Is 1800/ the new normal?????
How long is this solar minimum sposed to last????

                        One more.
The psychological roller coaster of the last few weeks has been taxing. And somehow different than the previous 3 years. So many stays of execution you get numb and punch drunk.
Take care and bank up on sleep when you can can. Cherish close friends.

Guys are rolling in canola. It’s 10 no frost last night and wind is coming up. Moving slow so 11 looks like start time.
