Bucket, the verdict is still out on 2019. The prairies are likely on track for a below average temperature this spring and summer, and fall But that does mean that global warming is not occurring. Climate change is based on trends around the globe and not based on any one region or season.
World Meteorological Association (WMO) Statement on the State of the Global Climate in 2018
https://library.wmo.int/doc_num.php?explnum_id=5789
2018 was the fourth warmest year on record. 2015–2018 were the four warmest years on record as the long-term warming trend continues.
Ocean heat content is at a record high and global mean sea level continues to rise. Artic and Antarctic sea-ice extent is well below average
Average global temperature reached approximately 1 °C above pre-industrial levels

It is an awful feeling (I have 320 acres of swathed canola still out) but if you dont have a dryer, and cannot immediately move it off the field, just combining it to be done is going to be the least of your problem. I saw neighbors have combine breakdowns in excess of $50000 trying to combine tough damp canola. Honestly, leaving it out isnt the worst thing in the world.
