Perimeter in Winnipeg used to be way out there, now the city is around it. It's called planning...

Haven't been on the bypass, but this shouldn't even be a question. Every US, and EU, hell most cities in other parts of the world have bypasses.

Regina is turning into a giant donut, everybody and businesses trying to get into the outer ring, everyone else stuck in the middle.

Regina will never ever see half a million people. 300 is possible but that bypass still over built even for that. Could have shaved 20 miles off it and built a hospital and a couple high schools instead. Somebody has a vision of this city that doesn't exist in reality. Just like the GTH and stadium.

We use the new by-pass all the time but could take it or leave it. Would I rather have flashy by-passes and over-passes or 3 billion dollars? Was it necessary? Guess if you’ve got some one elses money to burn you can build a useless global transportation hub and several monstrous concrete loops BUT the trains still run through the city and across the by-pass. WONDERFUL.

I had to get to Finning Cat from Hwy 33 other day noticed bypass had opened decided to take it. Its a long ways around, took ring road back instead.

Would be nice not to take 6 years putting in passing lanes from Regina to North Portal. After all I would guess that area down there paid for a good chunk of the bypass.

Give me a *** break, the only thing the sask parry has done is spent more than they brought in from the high price of oil boom and now we all are still paying for it. They’ve made farmers pay for their corrupt and stupid decisions. Name some policies that have helped ag as much as they’ve given away money to the oil industry?

They’re actually worse than the ndp ever was.
We’re stuck here now crying about oil
It’s getting embarrassing the ag sector mainly farmers have all faced worse than all these oil companies going tits up because they can’t make a go of it unless they pay nothing in royalties and soak the shit out of all of us. The world market is speaking its saying they don’t want our oil wake the fk up.
These bought off self interested crooks they aren’t looking out for all of us it’s for
Themselves. They’re going to destroy not only our province but our country due to corrupt ran incompetent behaviour.
Kenney Harper Wall were all a part of an era of majority governments fed and prov at the same time and what did they do? Now we’re crying about equalization we’ll tell me what circumstance would have been better to deal with that issue and all the other issues? Get these losers out!!!!

The Sask party spent over a billion dollars on the bypass which has some benefits to be sure but at the same time they cut STC and public transportation for rural Saskatchewan affecting seniors, students and those who don't drive the most.

Seniors without families or community support will find it more difficult to stay in small towns. It was an attack on small town Saskatchewan.

The Sask party cut STC based on very small savings of $17 million per year. Public transportation is a service just like public roads. They are both essential infrastructure..

The taxpayer subsidies to highways are massive. If subsidies are wrong then maybe we should privatize the highways or make users pay the full cost?

My oldest works by Evraz in Regina and from our home in Wascana he says at 7 am it takes him 15 min to get to work but if a train is on the tracks all bets are off. The other day we went to saskatoon and drove from Arcola all the way around and it took 20 min or exactly similar to going through the city. Basically yes it's far around but no traffic and 110. Winnipeg if anyone can remember when they build their road was miles out now it's not.

Come on NDP supporters it's a good road.

Sort of like the NDP and the General hospital, I wonder if you followed the money who made out on that shit show. Close the plains and relocate to a total shit show in the middle of the city.

Ah the NDP are so great.

Oh, Chuck the CWB isnt coming back.

Your leader sad sack Ryan is a disaster and will lose seats.

The NDP is finally dead in Sask and that is a good thing.

Keep electing idiots to run the party and like the dinosaur, it will be gone.
