Do you see anything about agriculture

From the conservative website and Scheer's meeting with Trudeau.....

"""""1.Keep Canada united and strong by launching a task force to study the establishment of a national energy corridor, which could bring Ontario and Quebec hydroelectricity to new markets, open up opportunities for Western Canadian oil and gas, and connect rural communities in Atlantic Canada and the North.
    2. Help Canadians get ahead by offering broad-based tax relief, providing a date for balancing the budget, and proceeding with fair tax-free maternity benefits.
    3. Restore ethics and accountability to government by introducing stronger penalties in the Conflict of Interest Act.
    4. Get the energy sector back to work by tabling a detailed plan, with concrete deadlines, to build the Trans Mountain expansion and repealing Bills C-48 and C-69.
    5. Take real action on the environment by drawing on policies from our Real Plan to Protect the Environment, such as the Green Patent Credit, the Canadian Clean brand, the Green Home Renovation Tax Credit, and ending raw sewage dumps.
    6. Immediately fund regional transit expansion in the GTA, starting with the Ontario Line and Yonge Extension.
    7. Reduce the paperwork burden on Quebecers by adopting a single tax return. """"""

Didn't hear much about number 7 during the election...not sure thats a national issue right now...

What are the Western MPs talking about...sure don't seem to be representing their base support of agriculture very well...

Maybe just one MP could post here and address the deficiencies to agriculture....

Bucket we just have to sit back and give skippy enough rope sooner or later the **** STain will hang himself.

We need the GTA to wake up and till that happens nothing will change.

Diversity isn't our strength its out end game.

Both, he asked for a 1 yr reprieve from the carbon tax on grain drying. It was rebuffed and followed by a stupid grin from our boy chief. Moe looked like he wanted to pummel him.

So Scheer has stated he supports the dairy payout and now he will correct Quebec's income tax forms to one....

WOW ...now thats visionary thinking....no wonder the west is phucked ...

The TMX pipeline workers are technically government workers now.....see how the liberals change things to their benefit....that pipeline will cost 20 billion to build and be a white elephant in the end....

Moe was clearly and genuinely ticked off. Good to see. He, as would be the case with me, could scarcely bring himself to lay eyes on that slimy crook.

Both Moe and Meili are missing the point....the carbon tax isn't the issue ...its all the tough unmarketable grain sitting on the prairies...

If the carbon tax on grain drying is the deal breaker then the crop should have been left in the field...

Guys have spent a buck bushel trying to dry grain in smaller bins with makeshift heaters and not every farm can go buy a dryer....

I think the saskatchewan politicians have missed the opportunity.... chasing an issue that could disappear next year....

The province could easily issue a rebate for the carbon tax on grain drying....they have committed 40 bucks an acre to irrigation districts for 5 years....think outside the box....they have the money and their focus is off....so is the vision for saskatchewan and Canada.....

Policy isnt the point right now. Skippy has his finger on that and nothing anyone else can do about it.

The conservative opposition, Scheer, Ford, Kenny are going to try and make it hell for skippy for the next few months and see if they can topple the govt. I dont see this govt lasting long. 2 yrs would be a stretch. I think there are a lot of people in the GTA having buyers remorse. I doubt he would get anywhere near 157 seats in the next election. People are going to notice when you start giving everything to the bloc and socialists, they will never stop and CPC just need to watch for that issue and bring down the house.

So Moe has a meeting with Trudeau and all he asks for is a one year break on the carbon tax for grain drying and it stops there?

What about all the other issues facing Sk farmers? Sounds like Moe talks the talk but doesn't walk the walk!

The sooner the better for bringing down this government....how long did Joe Clark last 6 months????

Hoping for a defeat of the throne speech....no one should have met with Trudeau...let him figure it out on his own ....it would have ended sooner....now he has time to rethink his incompetence....

BTW agriculture still has no representation....if Trudeau called the mayors of Saskatoon and Regina...he should have called some rural leaders as well....

Saskatoon and Regina mayors don't represent farmers....

I concur with that statement ...Moe did nothing.....and certainly didn't represent farmers....the province could write a rebate cheque for the carbon tax on grain drying...given the return for the provincial economy...

There is an article in the post today saying Obama flipped the election. It must have been much closer than the results show until he stuck his nose in. The CPC must see something there. A little more work in Atl Canada and GTA and some more time for Singh to prance around might flip the entire thing more in balance. Thats why Kenny is on the slow boat. Cult of personality is a hard thing to topple and there are a lot of weak minds in the country.

Farmers are in trouble way beyond the carbon tax amount on grain drying. Moe talks about the one thing he wouldn’t contribute to help our situation who’s gonna sit down with him and ask him about all the shit his government has thrown at farmers which is way more than the carbon tax. The carbon tax has nothing to do with crap insurance, agstability, provincial tax which has cost my farm several times more than the carbon tax, etc etc.

We need a reset like alberta did ndp one term then maybe they’ll get the message

Moe did well considering he had to look in the general direction of a smug drama teacher.
Gormley figures Moe is already having talks with Alberta regarding some of their planning.
