One thing that would make sense bureaucratically, but likely would meet tremendous resistance given the current political climate would be to harmonize the gst and pst. At least then you could claim the tax back in the process of adding value, just like gst ITC's.

At the very least, the pst should be transformed into a true VAT. The pst is brutal in that it gets charged on the full value of the goods or services sold every single time along the value chain. A true VAT only gets charged on the value that is added from each transaction to the next.

Oh I don’t know I m going to go drive around by the gth BIG TRANSPORTATION HUB, and then on the BY PASSES with no traffic on it then over to the CARBON SEQUESTER disaster ie carbon tax in the pst, then go enjoy the game and freeze my ass off in a giant TOILET BOWL. I ll fill out my agristability that 2/3 of farmers quit because the ass party won’t fund a proper one even though the ass party screamed and hollered when grip was cancelled and promised to replace it. They did but replaced it with a worse program than the ndp were willing to contribute to so it was gutted.
I might just getting started.......... Our local hospital closed 2 older farmers couldn’t afford to move to city died on the farm by the time ambulance hit them to the city possibly the rough road killed them.
