    AEN Fall Assembly

This is coming up next weekend and it sounds like I'll be heading that way. Work feels there weren't any ag people there last year so we should send some. Makes sense to me (anyone else free to go? Lol)

Anyway, I have a broad, general ability to speak on ag but Environmentalists do seem to have a tendency to pick on us and how we're destroying the world, yada yada yada. In the face of potential blame gaming ag I want to be able to ask what do they recommend - which can easily bring up a variety of non feasible options

    SO

I would like to offer an input/profit (hahahaha profit) comparison for this year. Or any year really just this year is a tough one so probably fits my motives well enough.

What was the cost to get the crop to the bin this year and what would you need to get for it to break even or turn a bit of profit. I remember once upon a time seeing someone say $6.50 but like hell I can even remember where I seen that and not sure it was for this crop. Also maybe what they're offering in your area. Here it seems to be the $5-$5.50 range for low pro 1/2red atm.

Anyone want to help me out? Be as detailed or general as you like.

Also if you have anything else you think could benefit being brought up let me know and I'll take it with me.
