Better to ask one thing the socialists got right. Provide an example where a socialist policy or socialist government experiment hasn't been an abject failure.

This is an interesting question. I am a Libertarian type and despise socialism and communism of every kind. I am absolutely amazed at the success of Hutterite colonies. When the Puritans tried communal after coming to America it was a complete failure. And we are not talking about an isolated colony or two. They have widespread systemic success across nearly every aspect of agriculture over 60-70 years. I don’t understand where the motivation comes from to drive such success. If I didn’t observe it I would be certain it would never work.

Although it is full of problems I am amazed how well our socialist medical system works. Obviously room for improvement but compared to other countries it’s pretty good. I would be hard pressed to name any country I would switch with.

Don't worry guys we all pay big money for medical care and it seems to cost more and more as the years go by. I say its unsustainable and full of wasted expense and the day will come that taxpayers won't be able to keep it all afloat.

most of the health cost goes to the meth heads, and chronic abusers. The average person who uses it every once in awhile, has no priority over these people. Its only getting worse. Time for a change.

What a great and honest reply.

It too wonder , how they do it . Hutterites
Compared to the abject failures of
Older communist systems.. Russia and Cuba lately.
I have some theories, but only that.
A good discussion for another day.

Our local terminal doesn’t really handle wheat only canola flax barley now.
So that move gave way too much more power to grain companies and railways

I guess you could say that you have "marketing freedom" , aka you take the price you are willing to put up with.
Our local Pioneer terminal down here in RM #111 has a delightful group of staff that get upset when they have to load grain cars, or demonstrate the smallest amount of "Customer Service" ! This is what happens when there is a elevator swap , and you have to take the unionized employees as part of the deal.
