If safety was the main issue why didn't the union take immediate action when the contract expired in July? I have no problem striking all summer. They picked this time of year for maximum effect. Contract end dates are like Christmas ...they know when the date is .....its a breakdown and now its management using the propane issue to force the government into action...

I’m not saying I agree with them shipping 100 cars of propane or a 100 bags of dog shit. Just my observation of the situation. Alberta is taking the high road I guess but like a parent with an entitled drug addicted child; sometimes it’s best to cut em loose to hit rock bottom and figure it out. Enabling them only prolongs the misery.
