    Trudeau can never understand.
    Screw him.

The problem is that Rex seems to think that he is appealing to a rational mind that processes as normal minds do, and that the regressive liberal mindset is for the betterment of the people.

Nothing could be further from the truth - Trudeau is not rational, in the sense of Western values, and he is not looking to improve, but to destroy our nation and its values.

He is diabolical to the core and a master deceiver, saying all the right things but working for the globalist agenda where the elites will live off the avails of the modern day serfs.

If you feel incliined to disagree, look at his track record for the past four years and tell me what he has improved.

In my mind's ear I can hear Rex's voice as I read the NP article.

But there is something about his delivery and tone that would add the "Rex factor" to his columns and make the piece that much better. He has great literary prowess.

Rex is just a former CBC "celebrity" pushing his opinions in the "left wing media". Aren't you guys done with celebrity opinions? Especially opinions from CBC types!

Rex is a pedantic windbag who writes pretty sentences sprinkled with words that nobody else uses or understands. That doesn't make him intelligent or thoughtful.

I am surprised that many of you agree with one of those "eastern bastards" who came from a province that survived on the dole and fishing for 3 months of the year, until oil was discovered!

Growing up, Rex should of got a "real job" out in Alberta on the oil rigs instead of pretending to be an oracle of conservative thought on the CBC.

              Now now Chuck.

He's just telling it like it is.

Everyone with an opinion is opinionated.

Was that blatant or subliminal sarcasm?

Just having a bit a fun with you. I listened to Rex over the years. I didn't agree with him often but he was kind of entertaining in a weird sort of way.

If nothing else it made you listen to him twice or look something up in the dictionary....education is a good thing...I always had to listen till the end to get the story wrapped up....

I will say this ...when he was on TV I didn't change the channel until he was done....

Had the Liberals won their majority there would be no olive branches offered, the willow switch would be the only thing used.

I find it very hypocritical the about face actions of this Liberal government, stayed tuned...in order to maintain power more concessions will have to be made. Maybe all for the better then. Absolute power corrupts absolutely, marginal power requires co-operation and concessions.

What I find amusing, and alarming at the same time, is how Provincial Premiers are visiting/meeting with Trudeau like they are leaders of a foriegn nation. Maybe that's what Canada is, ....a Confederation of Sovereign Nations.

Knowing Trudeau he cares nothing about anything but himself. He will jockey with the electorate just enough until the polls tip his way and then call a snap election. His dad did that back in the 70s. Rinse repeat. Just has to turn back a few block seats and inner city seats. Why do you think he is talking with Mayors and not Premiers?

We cant go back in with Scheer, that boat has sailed. He needs to take one for the team and let someone else in there.

Jazz, Trudeau lost suport in Liberal territory. I DOUBT any concessions to the west will placate Westerners and likely only aggrevate his core support. Ya he may be able to win back some Quebec seats from the Bloq.

He will be doing what he does best, Ring Master of a three ring circus, only difference... he himself is walking the tight-rope this time....juggling the wants and needs of regional demands and interests.

                          He's just not ready.

When people say, he's just not ready, that could imply that someday in the future he may be ready.
Hell will be holding the curling finals between Lebanon and Zambia before he is competent enough to hold any political office.
