Assuming aus is importing top quality product. They've been hitting targets @ $7-7.25 for a #1 14.5 around here the last month or so... really not sure how much there is to scare out though.

          $7 ?????
We have beautiful #1 hrsw with 13-14 pro
          Can barely get $6 locally.
Wheat market is a complete embarrassment.
The vast majority of hrsw is downgraded in all of western Canada . Yet high quality is treated not much better than pig feed .

Mallee you should be importing yourself from Canada, or even broker the deals ( less cash outlay and no risk to you). Viterra or Glencore shouldn’t get all the profits. You have the connections at both ends.

Heres the retarded part... posted price on #1 13.5 is $6.20.

If you phone in though, they'll tell ya to target 7 for #1 14 and it'll go.

So they force you to sign a "pre-buy/purchase contract" before you get a final purchase agreement contract?

Just can't go straight to the "purchase agreement contract" without passing go. Like a board game...

Ah yes...the tree of low hanging fruit.... The target price agreement tree of LIMBO.

Some end users must be paying $400 even 420 plus way of the world I guess

Tried to find freight seems $35 to 5 depending on vessel but may be coming in containers

Also it’s just rumour but imports happened last year don’t see why not again

My guess would be feed or low quality milling wheat.

No shortage of top grade wheat in oz despite Lower tonnes

It's probably the $4.50 program for feed wheat that seems to have specs for a lower quality milling wheat.

Ah, the shit show continues. They double the price on the coast.

Canadian wheat to Australia is all #2 so far.
Likely next to none by container.

Are Falling Number specs applied to all wheat deliveries in Australia?
