    Can someone please explain....

Why APAS is promoting secondary industries that have the ability to re-coup costs?

The presentations on their website from the AGM are from Northern Gateway that has been subsidized to the tune of a buck a bushel for the next 10 years....

Then they are talking about fake meat....where is the return in that industry to farmers? Its more expensive than beef and yet not helping our pulse markets...

Both are re-couping costs but why isn't APAS asking how this is helping primary producers?????

well, Apas , doesn't realize there is a problem with 1950's grain prices and 2019 inputs
or when probably 20-25% of Sask crop is out ,(anyone saying that 95% of Sask crop is harvested is a fu kin idiot) or that canola yields were down most places 15-20%

The amount of green wet canola is staggering.
Guys can’t sell what is dried and cannot get money to dry the rest because they can’t sell
        This green shit.
This a *** disaster being ignored by the Sask Party and the fed Liberals. There ought to have been a drying program in place. For this magnitude of a problem. There is no program addressing the costs and crop losses farmers are enduring.

APAS did a grain survey.....The very first question should be ....have you ever had to dry grain?????

Then do the survey to add context to the results...

Isn't there still an up to $500 million interest free cash advance available or is that over with?

Do you realize pulses go into those products? And using pulses is how you create demand? And farmers grow pulses?

But they have to be profitable to keep growing them....fake meat is more expensive than the real stuff....so there should be a premium for our raw materials. ..

tweety, peas are getting very difficult to grow because of root diseases. There won't be any Industry if there are no peas. Breeders better start focussing on root disease resistance.

Ya I know but at that they may as well come out of rotation. Think of it in terms of a 40 year farming career on a specific piece of land that means only 5 times.
