    But protected by Crown Patent or Letters Patent, which, while variable in form, generally declare that the Crown has alienated, without reservation, all interests/claims to the land excerpt for reservations (eg. - mineral rights, certain timber rights) which are SPECIFIED within the patent.

    Today, Crown Patents are still issued when land is taken up from the Crown, or when an institution, such as our farm representative groups, are given their commission from the "Crown", which in their case would be the Province, I believe.

    These Letters Patent are to demonstrate that the agreement with the patentee has the full support and weight of the Crown behind them.

    However, experience shows that most levels of government do not want to recognize the significance of Crown Patents. because of they would recognize them, their whole damned system of oppression would come crumbling down around them and they would no longer be able to order our daily operations and lives.
