Scheer was a victim of the MSM right off the bat. He didn't have a sharp answer to their questions and wouldn't lie like Trudeau so they ate him up.

They were pushing the LGBT climate abortion narrative months before the election and he should have had a stronger comms strategy to deal with it. Just refer back to the law and let it be. For climate take some fed funds and say you will build a dozen money loser wind farms. Public wont know any better. Tell them they have to be built in the west. They are as dumb as a stick.

      Country too.

Trudeau talked a lot of sht after the election but he is just acting. He is looking for a way to wedge those 13 seats back to LPC and call a snap election. Has to be stopped. Scheer will get a nice cabinet post in the next election.

The ball is now completely in Kenney and Moe's court. If they don't draw a line in the sand we're doomed.

At least we won't have a Robert Stanfield staying in and assuring a Trudeau dynasty.

Trudeau's noble yet verrrry humble Bon voyage to Scheer very indicative of his worst fear. A party that does the right thing by ousting the garbage.

There is no way in hell half the country will have any representation until the premiers stand up.
The cons are just trying to play the same old game under the same old rules.
                Done. Full stop.

A new leader will face a party with potential divisiveness caused by rural and western alienation, plus the more socialist Canadian psyche and more than likely an economy that is both polarized and has issues, this new leader must be able to bridge many gaps and solitude's. (Rona please).

However, not only Scheer needs to resign, the whole advisory board needs to stand for reelection at the same time. New blood is needed as well in governance of the party.

Should the process of voting for a leader be reviewed, after all Scheer left that convention with tepid support at best, the many ballots required to achieve majority did not confidence bring, and indeed not party solidarity? And party solidarity will be tenuous as best this term, in face of a divided nation as well, what a final vote does is it solidifies the assembly & should be considered a necessary hurdle to overcome. But in this case majority rules: choose delegates well.

Conservatives must fill the vacuum to the right of center, in divided times.

The shake up needs to reach beyond Scheer.

Sheer was never supposed to compete in this election. Everyone knew Trudope would get a second mandate. That is why he got the lead the CPC party, all the strong candidates are waiting in the wings. Western leaders will never get the top job, they are just dumb expendable peasants just like farmers. Next up Rona Ambrose, Peter Mckay, the mulroney kids, or some friggin astraunaut etc. If I were in Andrews shoes I would quit as well, todays social media crowd is going to ruin this country. end of rant.

"Global News is reporting that Scheer resigned over allegedly using campaign money to cover his children's private school education."

Love how all you Righties are avoiding the real reason Andrew resigned. Not to mention he was using your donations to put his children through private school!

It's all quite in the Righties camp that their own Self-Righteous Christian leader with his US citizenship was a big fraud!

This go around try to choose a good leader to represent the CPC. Mckay will definitely not get the job done!
