They do understand the coop is pretty much owned by the same farmers through their memberships right, I say fire them all and replace them with people that want to work. Bet there are more than a few oil patch guys that need the work with all the required tickets that would be more than happy to step in.

I wish i had time to organize a rally saying “fire the spoiled union picketers”. As other posters said, with a union, the business gets influenced and many workers are not working honestly and committed. there was a time and place for unions but i feel not anymore

I blame both sides.....federated made good money and there is no reason that management could not have settled this before the contract deadline....

And there is a lot of people out of work in western canada that would love a jobs with a 170000 dollar wage with benefits included...

There is a lot of arrogance on both sides....

Now unifor wants everyone to boycott all coops insupport of them..
Coop keeps small town sask alive..
They can take a flying leap..

So I noticed an article today on google news from global, in this article Unifor calls for a boycott of the greedy federated coop locations in western canada, So first thing tomorrow morning I'm phoning my local federated coop and telling them if they cave to these Unifor pricks I'm buying my fuel elsewhere lets see whos got the most leverage. Anyone want to join me in doing the same?

There would be thousands of candidates available to replace these Unifor workers.
Energy sector, potash, uranium, and other industries have laid off workers in the last few years.

Maybe FCL could lock them out and replace them?
