    AG minister meeting today...

They only thing they should be discussing is help for western canadian farmers and ranchers...

But they will be talking about intergenerational farm transfers and taxes on it...

    Pretty f'ing disappointing...

No major changes to agristabilty other than private insurance payments

Or discussing carbon tax on grain drying....How about discussing the tough grain issue and what the industry could do to help....

Talk and they only thing to come out of it is that they will meet again sometime....

Zero will come out of this meeting.

They will promise more money is on way for Dairy and Chickens etc.

Western issues won't get a single minute of time for discussion.

BOBOO will say we stand with farmers. The Liberal gov will have their hands in our pockets getting the last bit of blood out of us.

Carbon tax hurts farmers they don't care.

Watch they in spring budget will be coming after your retirement in either a death tax or capital gains on everything tax.

No one has been standing beside me when visiting my banker and there is plenty of crop left out and it has never happened before...

They won't discuss anything....look at the comments from Marit....he thinks things are sunshine and lollipops...and my guess from the ag minister meeting he hops a flight to his new vacation home....

Its interesting that finance ministers want the stabilization they are trying to get backdated a couple of years as well....

Interesting that a province can ask for help after wasting billions but farmers are expected to accept the reality that is farming....

Why doesn't the province sell the stadium to the riders and let them hold the debt...

While saskatchewan's finance minister says there might be a 36 million dollar surplus...there could be a lot more by getting back the money invested in a stadium....if they are actually a profitable football team...

Or maybe re-couping money from the GTH fiasco ...

At least I can say the weather didn't allow harvest ....

The saskparty government has no excuses other than incompetence and corruption...

          BOBOO is standing with farmers.

          Like WTF does that mean.

More like standing behind and kicking us in the ASS.

Liberals screwed up my markets and I will never forget that till the day I die.

Useless meeting of doing nothing and study the situation more.

          Total crock of shit.

God, I hate politicians. ANy of them.

Income decline of 41% in 2018 and likely further erosion in 2019, they need to look at #carbontaxcredits as a source of new revenue to keep the sector healthy.

No amount of agstability programming can replace revenue.

On the dog thread: you know there is not a lot of farmers left in the country when spaying a female dog is not essential to avoid puppies any more.

Attracting a workforce, necessary for succession, is a topic of strategic planning on this watch; we boomers are steadily checking out.

Western finance ministers want retroactive stabilization. ...

How many farm group reps even understand that and if they did....did the ag ministers or any farm group ask for it as well. ...

Instead what did the majority of western Canadian farmers receive today from the ag ministers meeting or the finance ministers meeting.????....

I didn't hear about a package similar to supply management....for losing markets.....
