Not going to bother to listen to what Boris Johnson has to say in his Christmas message because I don't live in the UK. Besides he's got one hell of a mess to contend with over there regarding Scotland and the "Irish Backstop". We'll see how good he really is!

Here's Canada's PM Trudeau's opening sentence of his 2019 Christmas message to Canadians.

"Merry Christmas Canada! Today our family joins Christians everywhere to celebrate the birth of Christ"

No pandering to the minorities in the opening line nor the entire message.

Mallee, meanwhile your boy Scott Morrison is busy apologizing for taking off to Hawaii for a vacation while Australia is burring to the ground.

I don't think Santa will be stopping at Scott's house this Christmas.

Yup. Our pro Christian leader. So pro Christian, that he pulls money from them when they say abortion is wrong.

        .
I did take time to read the PM's message and your right it does not pander for once. Hopefully this signals a badly needed change in direction for this country but I will not get my hopes up too high.

Where did you get the idea I hated Johnson, Mallee? He was the clear choice in the last election and I look forward to him getting Brexit done as I supported it from the outset.

As for the other posters comment - there is no "issue" with Scotland to deal with. Of the 3.9 million eligible to vote in Scotland 1.24 million voted for the SNP, 1.47 million voted for parties other than the SNP. With first past the post voting the SNP just happened to get 48 seats, the others 11.
It's a region of the UK that voted a different way to some other regions in the Brexit vote (the city of London was another) Nothing new there, happens all the time. This election vote created no mandate for a 2nd Scottish referendum (and remember the SNP themselves insisted the last one was a one off, only a once in a generation vote) but if a another referendum were to be held tomorrow I'm fairly sure independence would be rejected again. The SNP are a one trick pony and the Scots are not about to buy that pony.

Exactly Sheep, excellent example of no pandering to minorities, as only 5% of Canadians oppose any form of abortion. Opposed to 53% feel it's the women's choice, 24% say there should be some limits, 7% if the mothers life is in danger, and 10% undecided. Seems not all Christians share your point of view.

Evidently your still bitter over the government's decision to cut funding and not pandering to "your" Bible Camp.
