Came across this photo of a moth that has snake patterns on it's wings to deter predators.
How does a moth know about snakes - much less how to mimic their image? The wonders of nature.

a moth and snake both have brains so there is some intelligence behind their adaptation.

But a plant has no brain or sensory system we know of. How would they develop a burr like seed that sticks to animal fur if they have no ability to conceive of such an animal.

So you're saying since you have intelligence in your mind you can will different hair/eye/skin colour at will to blend in with your surroundings and climate?

Um... that's not how it works.

Same reason why humans have adapted to hot/cold/wet/dry/ and to every type of ecosystem on the planet?


Same reason why wild mustard is hairy, because if it wasn't, it would have been eaten by bugs and not survived.

This is an erodium seed, (stork's bill)
You can observe how it reacts when it rains in order to seed itself. There is a good you tube video showing this intelligence.

This is an asymptote. Mathematical,scientific. One can only surmise that the seed has evolved in this way to give it the highest infinite possible chances of survival in order to procreate.
