    Seed Tax Hero

End of November this hero was arguing with farmers that they need to do their part and pay a seed tax. Now he says he understands how tough things are for farmers so buy Canterra Canola seed? **** off

Just read about Kevin Serfa in the financial post who said he reduced his canola acres in 2019.....

Maybe a sign of things to come....

Might take more than 40 bucks a bag for Dave Hansen to see the light.?????

Machinery doesn't go down when people stop buying. Neither will canola seed.

        130 million at CGC
        165 million at WGRF
2.3 billion in SCIC / Agristability

Who is making money on farmers....

I hope it doesn’t impact their ability to flip a complete line of machinery this winter

Second year of doing the same here. Feels great. Some NPKS, a little chemical, and bin run barley is netting better than #1 canola especially better than heating green crap like is happening a lot around here.

P.S. Maybe take a peek on your bins. My buddy had a big hopper go hot and nasty in under two weeks.

How many of you planning to visit the cant-erra booth at the January farm shows? I hope they have their speaking notes ready.

Hanson really knows times are tough.....Canterra lost $1.36 mill but he still got a bonus.

Woodland certainly aware that most of canola west of highway 2 had green seed issues. What I am curious about is your opinion as to why. Is it cold spring weather, not enough heat in the summer, shitty fall weather, new canola genetics too long growing season required, combination of all? I certainly don't think we need higher yields, not enough rail capacity now. We appear to need crops that will tolerate frost and stand through snow falls. Canola has the most money spent on research and still abysmal results for many, how will a seed tax help?
