    Could the CWB survive a Conservitive Government?

    It's been said that wheat is 15% protien and 85% politics.

    Well, in Canada, wheat is 15% protien and 100% politics. That's why what happens at the CWB never adds up!

    Anyway, with Paul Martin and the Liberal Party doing there best Jean Claude Kealie (sp?) imitation. (He was a skiier who went downhill very fast)It is becoming less and less pie in the sky to think a change in government may just happen sooner rather than later.

    The question is, can the CWB survive a conservitive government?

    Vote for one of the following.

    1. Yes

    2. No

    3. Well maybe, if they're prepared to downsize to about 25 employees and move there head office into a Moose Jaw mini-mall.

    Yes, if the National Citizen's Coalition manage their Communications Department.

      Adamsmith;

      Did the CWB survive the last Conservative Gov.?

      Here is what was in yesterday's Alberta Government "Speach from the Throne"

      "Alberta will also pursue other avenues, as required, to represent the interests of Albertans. That includes aggressively pursuing options to create grain marketing choice for wheat and barley producers so their operations can realize full market potential."

      If change happens... provincial governments will have to take the lead...

      Charlie;

      Are we 6 months away, or 6 years?

      Not fair to ask I know... but we have heard the same thing.... over... are you folks serious enough to do something "radical" this year?
