I read somewhere recently that some of these fires as classed as 10 times greater in intensity than the highest intensity fires that suppression efforts can even be attempted. Beyond even fathoming from this cold wet world we live in.

A dry spring or fall scares me around here. The day we have a grassfire in the area, it's usually 60 or 70 kmh winds and anything can happen. Hardly ever on a calm day it seems.

Look I don’t know jak Schitt or his brother John but if some of these wildemess areas had a permanent break maybe a mile wide occasionally things may be been different.

My farm is sandy by nature maybe 60% fuel load in those areas is way less some paddocks could call bare.

Will I ever get 100% burnt out possible never say never but let’s put it in unlikely category

Some of the worst areas have feed reserves green and dry in paddocks almost 10 11 months of the year top grazing areas sadly this year worst case.

Watched is it cnn last night briefly flicking channels there coverage in my opinion only of Aussie fires was distorted , then did a uk channel was seemingly factual, always interesting how stories get portrayed in other countries.

Rain and cooler conditions have helped many spots get a upper today and up coming days

No extreme weather for about 10 days

This is from two nights ago 3am taken by people taking refuge by the sea kangaroo island
