Avg. lunch box union Joe, should be asking what hotel is Diaz staying at, curtesy of the workers themselves, what level of suite is he staying in, how expensive are the meals and drinks he enjoying at the end of each day. Does he endure any oversight of his expenses, or same for any of the other protesters brought into Regina? Not likely.

i worked at a hydroelectric project once with a bunch of whacked out useless union pricks
it was amazing how lazy they were and how entitled they were
had a couple union votes while i was there , never did go union
they are conniving lazy entitled assholes , nothing more , nothing less
was on a carpenter crew and one of those whackos was giving me shit for changing a light bulb
they forget that we the consumers are paying for their foolishness
1 replacement worker doing same job as 3 union hacks doesn't surprise me one bit, and that is whats happening . they got too greedy and now the general public is seeing how useless they are

I'm betting most of the population somewhat supportive. Think about it.
Govt larger employer. General sense of entitlement at large. Business people smaller pop and often mistrusted.
Indoctrination well taught in Union families from grade school. Free summer camps. Well organized politically and generous media campaigns.
As our medical and education people are unionized, I'm not necessarily all against.
But often I remember a "strike" at Lakeside in the eighties I believe.
Camped out in highway ditch for two years before they gave up. Now the packing plant all Somalis happy to work and very good with knives.

So who runs ad campaigns regarding union excess???? Enforcement? Light bulb stories??
In this day and age, if wages are within a normal range, then employers should be allowed to fire them all.

I wonder if this guy has access to Angriville in the slammer

Its very unfortunate that the union demands the "sense of entitlement" attitude out of members and the sad thing is you have to be part of the union whether you like it or not if you want to work here.

Co-op employees had a really good gig with the way is has always been, I guess who would want to bend over if you have received a lucrative perk this long.

Suck it up Unifor people and get back to work or move aside and let those that would appreciate the opportunity and excel at the position take your job! Since you feel you are so good at what you do, there must be ample opportunities elseware

I think it was well over 10 years. I was there for most of it. For a while there were three and then there was one lonely picket there more or less permanently. Life went on.

Meanwhile in Regina this is nothing more than a photo op for Jerry. He will get millions in dues out of that shot of him in the paddy wagon. The only consolation I'm taking from this is that its Federated that has to wear the negative PR. Goddam socialists all of them.

All FCL has to do is start posting job openings for these 800 useless pricks and that will really get things rolling..

Could easily cut the staff back to 300 and increase our dividend cheque’s.

Time to trim the useless fat.
