IDK, but drove around Winnipeg today, the amount of new houses, new condos, new apartment buildings is staggering. And the houses are not nice bungalows, more like small mansions. Housing out to the perimeter on east side, south side, and getting there
      on west side.

They are still building like crazy in Calgary, but everything is empty and nothing is selling. My friend said something about the city subsidizing the building permits or something to keep things rolling, but is a bubble ready to pop. Reminded me of the ghost buildings Jazz posted about in China.

Well canadas biggest industry is FIRE. Finance (loans not investments), Insurance, Real Estate

Recirculating money and new debt bundled with a housing bubble counts for most of our GDP. Scary.
