Something that could steal votes from Liberals. I don't see any landslide votes for ending corporate taxes like Peterson is suggesting.

If you aren't a household name, you can't be boring.
Peterson was in the previous leadership contest, he is a business man with his own ideas to help the economy. Not sure how he will do?

Tells you how lackluster he is when I had no idea he was even in the last contest.

Ambrose needs to be convinced to run. Nothing wrong with the other candidates, but she is the person for the times.

Can't imagine where the west will be if 8 more years.

Both Mckay and Ambrose fit the bill of more progressive conservative which is what will be needed if there is any chance of winning the next election.

The west will look like a cotton sheet hanging from the clothes line after a vigorous debate with Mr. Cat and his socialist friend, Nine Tails.

Without Ambrose the next election is lost. Trudeau is setting up himself to take the UN seat he is buying while positioning Freeland as the next progressive choice. Canadas first elected female PM. Going to be pretty hard for Mckay to counter that.

So Trudeau will ride the waves for about 18 months, try and pump Freeland as much as he can, then he will bail saying he has important work to do in the world on climate change or some BS, we will be left with the debt, probably a recession and his Soros protege waiting in the wings.

My sentiments exactly. I can't say I blame him though. CTV/CBC were already sharpening the knives. Why anyone would want to go through that is more than I can imagine. With Rona out he'd have taken it on the 1st ballot. I'll hold my nose and vote McKay but I won't enjoy doing it.

I am not a Mackay fan....he submarined Scheer. ...and he could have stepped up earlier if he wanted back into politics...he should have ran as an MP .then pushed Scheer out....

I can, the West will no longer be the West, but instead the North, or Northwest of a prosperous productive nation.
