Well watch it rocket in Canada now because we took no reprecautions. The one guy who got it rode montreal transit for a week. Another guy attended the 26,000 person mining conference just 6 days ago. Like always, Canada drags its feet on everything.

Cause the flu totally overwhelms 1st world hospitals in a matter of weeks...
Listened to an audio recording of two doctors from Lombardy province In Italy. They are in DEEP SHIT!
Highlights of the conversation...
-they have closed down or severely limited entire wards of hospitals to free up beds for ICU.
-All GP's, specialists, and nursing staff are working flat out.
-They warned that if doctors and nurses are not essentially self-isolated prior to an actual breakout, a % will likely become infected before they even know it. Their exact words. It doesn't show up in a serious manner, until it is all of the sudden everywhere!
-They are seeing ALOT of 14-21 day asymptomatic transmission.
-They are deciding who to intubate. In the most overrun hospitals, those over 60 are being left to their own devices. They cannot give precious intubators to those with higher mortality rates.
-Youngest death they have seen is 38 year old with no "comorbidities."
-Contrary to media reports, there are ALOT of 20-40 year old infected. Their chances of survival though are VERY HIGH. They are the ones that get the intubators if supply is restricted.
-They have essentially "drafted" all medical students and nursing students who are at least 2 years into their program.
-Intubators are being taken from other wards, and their have been patients die in non-covid associated life threatening surgeries who could not be intubated because none were available.
-Only way they are possibly going to be able to lower the mortality rate is to slow the transmission down to buy the medical system time. Those on assisted breathing intubators need to recover so they can be freed up for subsequent patients.
-Kids are horribly efficient spreaders, as they tend to show slight to NO symptoms, but are assymptomatic spreaders for up to 4 weeks.
-Said children have consistently been linked to infection of retired grandparents, who have minimal social interaction but provide childcare for their working children. Grand-children are literally killing their grand-parents.
-Doctors and nursing staff that have so far not tested positive do not trust themselves not to become infected, so are sleeping in the hospitals and have told their family members they will see them a minimum of 21 days after the last infected patient leaves the hospital.
-Their message was intended primarily for colleagues in Rome and Southern Italy so as to allow them to prepare as best they can.
But yea... Totally just the flu!
