    Oil is off 20 percent

So how is it that gas and diesel isn't coming down?

The majority of gas and diesel in this part of the world is made from oil discounted from the current world price of $49 a barrel....a guess would put WCS at $35 a barrel...

Just wondering why grain markets crash instantly while oil has as well but gas and diesel stay at lofty prices...

We should be at 75 cent diesel and gas....

They could lay off half the staff at any coop and still have too many people.. at least around here....

The crude oil component of the price of a liter of retail gas is likely less than half.
Refining, distribution and marketing and taxes never go down

But isn't the biggest portion of all of those costs( except taxes) the energy component, directly, or indirectly?

The co-ops need no marketing ...they are in a captive market.....
