Article on CBC website quotes the Wet'suwet'en Chiefs as saying there will be no gas pipeline across their territory period. I see our illustrious Prime Minister has decided to stay home from Barbados but not really sure it is going to make any difference. I am glad to see that the greatest effects are down east, they re-elected Trudeau! It is certainly one hell of a mess!

Listened to Michael Enright interview the head of the B.C. Chiefs this morning. He said the hereditary Chiefs are in charge of much larger land area than the elected Chiefs. He said the elected Chiefs are just a construct of Canada's colonial government system and the land they control is like a postage stamp. This mess is just beginning. Canadians who support these demonstrators need to give their head a shake!

Listening to CBC radio in cab. Was breaking news. One of the Indians in the meeting taped the conversation (I imagine so government couldn't renege on any promises made) and was shared with media. Apparently it wasn't a very happy meeting overall. Minister figured he could tell the Indians to roll over and stay dead.

Sure am glad the country gets to see what it is like to deal with them. New invaders obviously aren't taught in citizenship class that the Indians have automatic veto on anything they don't like. Old invaders know that cash generally shuts them up. Seen one old Chinese guy in Toronto interviewed about it on street and he couldn't believe one group of people had so much power to disrupt the country. Back in China they would all be lined up and shot.
