Every generation gets a handout....and it's not just the rail blockades ....it's the American subsidies that Canadian farmers are competing against ....

          Plus the extra taxes....

Errol has pointed out that the BDI is very low so Canadian farmers and graincos should be very competetive. ...

But we have a government with people that don't understand the value of a competent supply chain within its own borders.

As long as Trudeau is being spoon fed everyday along with most of his MPs....we are phucked. ...

Trudeau and most of his MPs have never run a business...but they rely on business to pay their way through the electoral process....when that ends ....they might wake up...

Just remember Bucket, as soon as the government's cheque clears your account you cannot ever again mention irragation subsidies, AGT, Bombardier, SNC and every other entities that have received government monies.

Of course should something arise farmers will get a pittance compared to the losses both real and intangible now because of losses of sales due to the fact the end users will even more look at Canada as a 3rd world unreliable country to be purchasing from.

However the ones causing the issues will go scott free and be handsomely rewarded .

Hold on...the irrigation districts were given a 75 million infrastructure for a dollar....and the farmers are still being subsidized 200 dollars an acre....and that is like having your equipment bought by the government and another 200 on top from the government..

Irrigation is higher subsidized than dairy....

I'm not sure they should, still our tax dollars that there isnt enough of and the bigger deficit the more they will want in the future. But if they do it will go to the CGC, farm groups or maybe even directly to the rail companies and then be big n paid for news ads how they are helping farmers. There will not be a cheque in the mailbox to open.

Don't get too excited, probably just a cash advance. CBC will run with it.

Remember, if this is an ag-recovery payment then if you have an outstanding CCGA advance or an agristabilty repayment that money goes to them first.
