That would be in the "denial" category; would it not?
Also; the search instructions on the Office of Privacy Commissioner website allow finding LAFoip cases that have been pressed forward to the Court of Queens Bench.
Anyone care enough to help find out what results that can produce?
Now I know it to be true that it requires real legal reresentation (eqauls thousands of dollars out of pocket even when the case prevails) IF more than an individual is involved. But it might be a good learning experience to see an ignored recommendation pursued without formal legal representation??? Remember the legal opinions that have all been found "wanting" in this very case that the Privacy Commissioner has just released.
It also comes to mind that it is the privacy commissioner's recommendation; and just maybe that oversight office could/should be the ones who might be interested in seeing their recommendations are adhered to.
Just some thoughts for everyone to contemplate.
