Alberta to introduce 'The Recall Act' Legislation

I hear The Alberta Government is proposing The Recall ACT : which would allow Albertans the right to remove MLA’s, Mayor’s, Councilors and school board members.

Will find out the details. This proposed legislation has not been tabled at the Alberta Legislature yet.
This would be A great advance in democratic freedom!!!

With the proper procedure, that would be a vital instrument in the democratic process.

I mean, just imagine - elected officials who would actually understand that they are accountable to the electorate!!!

The premier should be subject to same process.

Don't we already have a recall process in place? They are called elections every 4 years.

Or would you rather the electorate have a vote every month on every decision made? That would be efficient.
