Wow that’s a lot of sheep. Average sask flock size is like 25 ewes. Which is a big part of our industry immaturity. Not enough people take sheep seriously, and it hurts our industry. It is so odd to me. Sheep are so much more profitable than cows, but not many people accept that. If they did, there would be less cows.

So mallee you did a three way sort off the “headgate†I gather? How many head an hour can you put through? When we do the cows or heifers we can do 100-125 head/hr and just sort open or bred.
Do you feed the twin pen “better†with some extra grain?
Just curious.
P.S. It’s been like +3 here lately and not needing a toque has been awesome.
