    Quebec LNG

Not so rosy for that project either. When Buffet wont touch your country you know something is very wrong.

New article on this on the CBC website. Yes Warren Buffet did pull his $4 billion promised investment. Proponents claim this is a setback but that the project will still go ahead. If you can't even build in Quebec maybe Trudeau will wake up but I doubt it. Uncertainty blamed on Indigenous groups.

Like I said before, nothing will get developed thats not already on private land, basically ranchers and farmers. Canadas north will basically be undeveloped now and a lot of mineral and energy wealth will be lost for good. The palliser triangle and adjacent regions just got a lot more attractive for whatever investment is left.

Not sure why the O&G companies arent moving to drill and frack the hell out of the WSB.

100% chance of federal funding so this project is a go. The lieberals can use the money they save by not finishing the Transmountain for this project. There is absolutely no chance the portion of Transmountain through the lower mainland get built.

They cant go around the natives now even for Quebec.

The rumor is Trudeau promised to ratify UNDRIP and grant title to the Wetsowetin tribe. Another layer of govt is about to be added to this country and this one is unelected by you and me.

I can vote out Trudeau if I don't like his policies but how the hell do we vote out unelected unaccountable native dictatorships. Its incompatible with a modern democracy and economy. No wonder money is fleeing.

Just wait until these govts throw restrictions and royalties up on ag commodities.

I think it’s a good time to bail and move on.

Decline rates are huge that’s why. They are just drilling to keep the production levels up so they can try to drill the stock market later. Heard a credit facility renewed last week for a major horizontal player At 8 points. The previous rate was 4%. I’m sure the bank of Canada rate cut could’ve help it. Lol
