New article on this on the CBC website. Yes Warren Buffet did pull his $4 billion promised investment. Proponents claim this is a setback but that the project will still go ahead. If you can't even build in Quebec maybe Trudeau will wake up but I doubt it. Uncertainty blamed on Indigenous groups.

Like I said before, nothing will get developed thats not already on private land, basically ranchers and farmers. Canadas north will basically be undeveloped now and a lot of mineral and energy wealth will be lost for good. The palliser triangle and adjacent regions just got a lot more attractive for whatever investment is left.
Not sure why the O&G companies arent moving to drill and frack the hell out of the WSB.

The rumor is Trudeau promised to ratify UNDRIP and grant title to the Wetsowetin tribe. Another layer of govt is about to be added to this country and this one is unelected by you and me.
I can vote out Trudeau if I don't like his policies but how the hell do we vote out unelected unaccountable native dictatorships. Its incompatible with a modern democracy and economy. No wonder money is fleeing.
Just wait until these govts throw restrictions and royalties up on ag commodities.
