The U.S. could have put the screws to the Saudis by cutting off military supplies. They could punish Russia by giving Ukraine more aid. Not under Trump.

EVEN I can understand that a 7 year study, with yet endless delay, on a project with a lifespan of 30+ years is ridiculous.
Had it been built by now, the money would be in our economy now. The profits at $50 would have been there at the time.
So turn off the taps at $20.
Turn them on again later.
Where would we be getting our potash from otherwise?
If the company thought it was feasible to spend the money here at the time we should have kissed it's ass.
Now we have our thumb up ours for a long long time.
Hopefully our kids or grandkids benefit when oil is $100 again and someone gets off their ass to dig it up.
