    Cheap Gas

    Costco Regina - 85.9 💥

    #2
30 percent drop in oil prices....gas should be 65 cents and diesel less....

Otherwise when oil goes to 60 bucks a barrel gas will be higher than when oil was 140 a barrel...

Gas prices will fall further, and so will most other commodity prices. But if you are an unemployed oil field worker whose employer just filed for bankruptcy thanks to the commodity price collapse, gas is not nearly cheap enough.

Yes cheap gas is useless if you have no where to go.

If this keeps snowballing household debt to GDP is going to go to infinity.

All Fuel Taxes are based on Cents/L so as the price of oil goes down, and the posted price follows it, remember the Tax isn't going down. Its becoming a larger percentage of the pump price. Total taxes account for 28 to 35+ cents / L depending on the Province. PLUS it still costs to convert that oil, and get it to your car. Thats not getting any cheaper, and freight costs aren't being reduced by much when the price of diesel goes down. That has to be paid for.

Interesting. ...it's a commodity like grain ....and no one gives a shit about the freight cost to deliver to an elevator and the additional taxes we pay....or any of the base cost to produce grain. ..

Either it's a open market on gas or its not...it's obviously a collusionary market
