Have guns have food have gas and extra gas if have to drive we’re ready. Hahahha

. My regular flight Is Saturday into Calgary this is the second self quarantine as we are two weeks off the boat today.

If Trudeau changes things today I’ll reevaluate and then plan b or stick with plan a.

Looks like insurance companies are saying 10 days to get home. That’s skippy announcement today.

    Ah fun times.

Totally agree about airports. Yet Jason Kenny went to International airport Arrivals gate for a photo op to make security look bad. This is our provincial leader. Really?

          Woodland.

Is that boat 14 days how it works, or how you hope it works?

As part of the 20% that should be isolated for a year to 18 months, I have no objection.

The other 80% that this represents nothing but a normal flu, well, we will kick them to hell out of our basements, and tell them to get to work and run this country. They should be in charge anyways.

As much as a guy complains about canada , never been so happy to get back
We finished our 2 weeks and got out before honduras was closing airport at 18:00 hrs
Everyone was sent home regardless if vacation over or not
Hats off to sunwing , worked late into the night getting ahold of vacationers .dive shop guy was there at midnight giving people their gear
Real reality check when you get to airport and doors are locked
Sunwing came empty and didnt even know if honduras would let them land
Stood outside locked airport until decision was made
If anyone out and about , get your arse home !!!!

Nobody knows anything other than they know the plans are changing after the boat changes course. Kinda pisses them off when it takes hours to tell them about it ........... do they think nobody is paying attention. It comes out now that the captain knew the last week of ports was closed to them before they started. What he was thinking is beyond me. Plan is now to be in Hawaii in 5-7 days after refuelling in Samoa currently.

Rumour is they may have to quarantine in Honolulu for 14 days and then of course they’ll get the pleasure of the same after getting home. Nobody is sick with anything on board. One guy is locked up after a fight for computer time. Another has been cut off phone and wifi for contacting the Australian government. It’s been a week of prison already and could be 5 more yet. Travel insurance runs out April 1st and I’ll see if it can be extended ............. if not who knows? Going to have to start phoning my MP and see what options there is from this end.

Guess I better start recruiting some help for calving since that’s probably going to start before my folks get back.

CaseIH I’m glad you made it back.

SF3 Timmies is only doing drive thru now ............ the apocalypse is near. Come home while you can.

This my attempt of a link to the CTV story about it. Never done this before so not sure if it’ll work. If not google “Norwegian jewel” and there’s a few stories about it.

My brothers in-laws are in a similar situation. I think they are back off shore near Australia. Boat got turned around after leaving there. Not sure circumstances so no details .

Good to hear you made it out. My parents along with my uncle and cousin are still in Roatan. They tried to book flights home the last couple days but they were all cancelled. Their original flight home leaves in a week and is still scheduled, hoping that doesn’t change. It is a beautiful place to dive but I don’t imagine it will be a safe place if people start to get sick.

Told them that and they agree. Still would rather be home but have made friends from Ontario and New Zealand too.

Hope your family can get this sorted out and back home too.
