The more I hear symptoms that confirmed Covid patients have the more convinced I am that this virus has been here for the last half of winter but went undiagnosed.

I agree. My daughter and I, along with some friends had symptoms exactly like it. It sure was no common flu. My wife had travelled internationally in mid December, and we were sick after that.

Same here , late November early December
I was sicker than I have been in years . Coughed up a lot of phlegm for two weeks 🤮
Been good since though
But who knows for sure, could have been a different virus , but I had most of the symptoms.

As has been stated before, hindsight is 20/20. The only thing I have issue with is the lack of restriction on incoming international flights. And the lack of assessment on incoming travellers. Both are a federal responsibility. I think provinces as a whole have done not a bad job.

I never said it was a hoax and I never said it was over. But I did say I think the provinces have responded as soon as evidence showed that they should. Pretty early on they asked people to not come to the hospital or clinic unless they met certain criteria. Telling people to self isolate, although I am not sure how serious some took it. The measures taken in a city are way different than what needs to be taken in rural canada anywhere.

The feds were off to a slow start. It was their responsibility to restrict airspace and monitor in airports, borders, etc. I do think some people are now taking it serious about self isolating.

But to say you knew how serious it was all along is just BS. You never even posted a comment about it until yesterday or today.

Hell I was even talking to Ritchie Brothers and they still intend to hold auction the same as usual, because everyone is outside. I told them that I think they better be planning for to move it to 100% online.

Part of Korea's fight is using cell phone data to track where infected people have been and testing as many contacts as they can.

They seem to be having more success than most.

So far travel is still the common factor here.
