I do agree that if there is need for migrant workers, there should be very few able-bodied people on welfare or EI.
seems to me that an empty belly would make a damn strong incentive, but that's not how it seems to work anymore.
One positive outcome that will undoubtedly rise from the ashes of the Chinese flu is that it will give opportunity for human ingenuity to show its limitless abilities. It will be interesting to see who will find a need and harness all their creativity to fill it.
