True, Canada did sent a planeload of supplies to China in February when the virus was running rampant in Wuhan. That is what countries do when a disaster hits. They send what help they can.

You ignore the fact that last Friday (march 27) the Bank of China donated a plane load of masks and gloves and supplies to Canada to help us with Covid-19 now that the situation has improved in China but is worse here.

By helping slow the virus in China, we probably saved some Canadian lives and now that the shoe is on the other foot China is helping other countries.

I am not a Liberal, but I consider providing the aid we did to being a good neighbor. It would be like if your neighbor had a stubble fire in the fall and you have a tank full of water so you go help put it out instead of leaving it sit in your yard in case you have a fire.

Let’s wait and see if their supplies are up to snuff before we get too excited about Chinese generosity. A buttload of masks they donated to Italy were supposedly N95 but when tested weren’t anywhere close and wouldn’t have protected the wearers one bit

Reports of a planeload of masks , in China ,going to France . Diverted on the runway by U.S. buyers offering triple the price for the masks. Who is worse the U.S. or the Chinese for basically being bribed. Locals told French officials said it was the American government. If this is true it should do wonders for the next meeting of Macron and Trump. How bad is the REAL situation in the U.S. if they are this desperate.?

Desperate or not, if I'm the leader of a country I look after my people first. How would Americans think about " it's ok Frenchies, you go ahead"? And who gives a damn what Macron thinks? Macron has been a suck up to the economy killing climate crap. He is a leftist that would love nothing more than throttling down the economic drivers of North America, including agriculture.

It's probably best that China sells the masks to the USA at three time the price as The Orange Man was late out of the gate regarding covid-19 and is now being out played by Xi Jinping.
